No, you're not. One may say «too» in the end of a sentence.

Today I met two Holland girls in metro on my way home, they tried to get Sennaya station. While guiding them on the right way, we were talking about the city, and what did they come to St-Petersburg for, and what do they do in Holland. One of them 'studies literature', she said. I asked, if it was philology, by she answered, 'this is a language, we don't study any language at all'. I asked, if they study authors, heroys, texts? And the girl replied, yes: they read and analyse literatures of different countries.

nobody has the same definition of philology as the Russian universities do

in fact we don't have any "philology" in the States at all, I have not heard this word used ever

Take it as a joke In fact I do understand that English is a very simplified language..and it would be stupid to expect that there would be further facilitating moments like unfull constractions. In case there would I'd call such a language just primitive.

Oh you are soooo wrong. English isnʼt primitive at all, our knoledges of English are primitive.

All translated into Dutch (or English)?  This cannot be true! There is a plethora of illustrious, unsurpassable authors whose works were never translated into English (let alone into Dutch): Slovene and Croatian modernism, major Serbian and Bulgarian authors, from the Russian authors Leonid Andreyev (Russian expressionism), Fyodor Sologub, Vasili Rozanov, Danish symbolism... The lasses in quæstion were Dutch. Holland is somewhere between the USA and Russia, so applying US criterion to them is nowhere near justified.
