Have you ever read Shakespeare in original? (that is a version of his times)

Certainly.

Compare Shakespeare's style to Versteher's 'stylish writings' and you're going to get a shock of pseudo-Shakespeare'ish Versteher's style.
It's a disgraceful act of trying to imitate the styles of the Great Ones for one should create his own.

Let us wait and see. Perhaps Versteher will excel Sh.

Certainly.
You're a genius then. I'm happy for you.

Right, and Dickens was a novice when he wrote his Pickwick Papers.

Well, Obama is a person, which does not make me feel any emotions. I would like to say that he's guided by someone above, a well-planned scenario :)

О, it seems I've never written this, or am I so forgetful already?    :o

Somehow I don't feel anything about him either.

Bush was funny at least.

The word "trash", leading its its meaning's origin from the name of carelessly thrown package, being at a street
OK, now I'm REALLY confused.  :D

Do you mix up 'conscious' and 'conscience' ? Any troubles with pronunciation?

Hmm, interesting question! Words are, really, very similar in pronunciation, but when we say "conscience", we pronouce letter "n", whereas in the word "conscious" there's no letter "n"  ::)

hm, 'tis really strange: when V. hath a rare urge to speak English in the way Ye might accept it, no one seems to support this urge.

On the wise men of Gotham
(cast with Xico’s limerick)
Quote
Tell me no more of Gotham Fools,
Or of their eels in little pools,
Which they were told were drowning;
Nor of their carts drawn up on high
When King John’s men were standing by,
To keep a wood from browning.

"Browning" means "roasting" in this case.

I had no idea there were different American accents. Some British people claim that there is no any accent in the English language. But I don't think so. Btw, they also say 'Russian accent sounds sexy'... Ha-ha.
My major is English, but we're learning British English, which sounds very weird to me. I think I mostly sound American than English.

Poor English... I used to love this language so much. I've been been normally studying it for more than five years, actually since the first grade in school, but even now I can't say my English is perfect.
