The indigenous hypothesis contends that Eskayan evolved from an ancestral parent
language shared by other Filipino languages (in the same way as Tagalog, Bikol etc)

-  The in situ hypothesis contends that Eskayan emerged within Bohol spontaneously as an
isolated natural language (analagous to theories on the origins of Basque)
-  The Pinay hypothesis contends that Eskayan was invented by one person or a group of
people for an auxiliary purpose (like Esperanto)
-   The displacement hypothesis contends that Eskayan is derived from a non-Austronesian
language (such as Etruscan, Greek, Latin, Hebrew etc)
-   The recuperation hypothesis contends that Eskayan is a 'dead' language that was
revived from written records (like Modern Hebrew)

4.1 Cognacy
In a Swadesh-list comparison, the most distantly related Philippine languages will still share at the very least 23% of their core vocabulary6. A comparison of the same core vocabulary in Eskayan indicates a maximum of 3.98% cognacy with Cebuano. Compared against three other major Central Philippine languages, Eskayan shows a relationship of 1.03% to Bikol, 1.54% to Aklanon-Bisaya and 3.98 % to Tagalog. Against Robert Blust's reconstructed proto-Malayo-Polynesian and proto-Austronesian wordlists, Eskayan shows a relationship of 1.54% and 1.86% respectively. Taken in isolation this cognacy data has implications for all five hypotheses.

Below is the cognacy report for the languages associated with the displacement assumption (see the Appendix for the full comparison). I have not had enough time to collect data for Ancient Greek.
Latin: 1.13%
Ancient Hebrew (Biblical) 3.74%
Etruscan: 0%7
Minangkabau (west Sumatra): 1.5%

Не думаю, что кто-нибудь вам сможет тут ответить. Почитайте книжцов, может что-то найдете, потом нам расскажите, любитель изолянтов и галлогрупп вы наш :)

В общем, типичные филиппинские "монголоиды", получается? :donno:

Помнится в пылу дискуссии один австралийский профессор рассказывал мне про изоляты Папуа и к чему-то там привёл пример и упомянул Филиппины и Эскаян, и заявил, что это нормальный такой изолят, и вовсе не конланг. Доказательств, однако, его не помню, к сожалению :(

Кстати, вот вики говорит, что у него нэйтив-спикеров нет. Правда ли это? И были ли они раньше?
