Я так понял, нынешний Крокет не имеет практически ничего общего с тем, что был в 2005-м, кроме разве что идеи. Прежний был написан на SmallTalk-е, а этот переписан с нуля на JS.

This link contains the core Croquet documentation, but more importantly it has several live multiuser CodePen tutorials that show how to use Croquet and what it's capable of.

Ну а я как раз такого и ожидал. Никакой опериционкой там и не пахло. Разве что когда-то давно могли в качестве эксперимента на каком-то микроядре всё это дело запускать...
