I can't download the file anymore.
Icelandic kk is pronounced with a "h". eHki. If it isn't so in this sample, than it isn't Icelandic

no unprepared speaker of Norwegian understands written/spoken Icelandic, though they all understand nynorsk.  ;-)

Just for your information: if you think that Norwegian has ONLY "ikke", are you wrong :)
they have plenty of variants - ikke, ikkje, itte, itj, inte, etc etc etc..
some dialects of Swedish have ikke as well..

actually I've listened to the file once again.. it may be Saami or some other language from Ugric family, why not? :)

Just for your information: Swedish for 'not' is 'inte', and Islandic for the same is 'ekki'.

It is definitely of Scandinavian origin, even if it is just an imitation of "viking sounds" in some pc game.
It really sounds like Icelandic, but not Faroese. In Faroese, for example, "ke" reads like "che". There is no long "i", it reads "uy" :) And so on.
