Hello. I am a new user and I almost speak no English.  So. I think I should introduce myself. I'm not a student and I don't work (you can say I'm some kind of neet). I like people but I'm awkward while conversing. I came to this forum because I have a lot of problems with a lot of languages. They are way too difficult. I decided to introduce myself here because I dodn't found any conversation board on these forums.  So I wish myself to stay here at least a little while...

Нет никакой разницы, с какими существительными употреблять словосочетание a lot of
There are a lot of children in the park.
There is a lot of water on the floor.
Поэтому в случае затруднения в определении качества существительного, можно смело использовать a lot of.

"I almost speak no English" is perfectly fine. In fact, it's better style, more conversational. I would probably say "I speak almost no English", but that's a minor nitpick.

"A lot of problems" is fine too. The whole phrase is awkward, but I would say "a lot of problems" in speech way before I would even think of saying "many problems". That might be just me, but his post only had one real problem which is "didn't found" that should be "didn't find". The rest checks out

Cool! Thanks everyone for the correction! I've just noticed that this thread seems to be quite abandoned. So, perhaps I should wait. But I am sure there are lots of other threads in other languages, aren't there? Perhaps I should just check and find them...
