When to use accusative case, explanation of reflexive verbs

Hello,

I am learning Russian. I have taken one year of Russian in University and I have 2 questions:

1) When do you use the accusative case? For example, is this correct?
Вы хотите конфетку? - Do you want a candy?
OR
Вы хотите конфеткa?

I think I sometimes do not use the accusative case when it is needed and I would like to clear up my confusion.

2) Is there any special meaning attached to reflexive verbs? Are they used differently than non-reflexive verbs?

The first variant is correct. The latter is impossible in Russian.

You mean the verbs ending in -ся? They could have various additional meanings, relative to its non-suffixed counterpart, although not always. So it could have reflexive (мыть-мыться), reciprocal (видеть-видеться), passive (делать-делаться) meaning or be an intransitive verb with no such meaning (смеяться, улыбаться - there exist no *смеять, *улыбать).
